Empire Dragon Boaters are all ages and come from every background, united by our experiences of surviving and thriving past cancer. We welcome all cancer survivors who are interested in our program which supports fitness, health and community.
During our season from April to October, we compete in 5-6 race festivals in the New York Metro and New England areas. We practice on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings at the World’s Fair Marina in Flushing, Queens in two boats sponsored by our generous private donors.
